1. Acceptance & Professional Eligibility
By creating an account via WhatsApp OTP, downloading the AkidFood Market mobile app, or transacting on the Platform, you enter into a legally binding agreement with AkidFood Technologies.
AkidFood Market is strictly an enterprise B2B platform. Access is restricted to registered commercial buyers (supermarkets, restaurants, caterers, food businesses) and verified agricultural producers, farms, mills, and wholesale distributors in Algeria.
2. Account Registration & 24h Regional Validation
To ensure genuine commercial trust:
- WhatsApp Authentication: Users sign in via their professional WhatsApp mobile number with OTP verification.
- 24-Hour Regional Agent Approval: Each user's commercial registration (Registre de Commerce) and official paperwork are reviewed and approved on the ground by an assigned regional agent within 24 hours.
- Multi-Employee Accounts: Organizations may add employee accounts with fine-grained permissions (e.g. authorizing marketplace orders or order receipts only).
3. Result-Based Subscription: 10 Free Orders
AkidFood operates on a Value-First Guarantee ("Abonnement au résultat"):
Core Principle: Professional subscriptions only activate after your business has successfully completed 10 orders through the app. There are zero upfront fees, zero trial expiration dates, and no billing until tangible value has been demonstrated.
4. Wholesale Orders, Inventory & MOQ
Marketplace transactions are governed by the following commercial specifications:
- Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ): Every listed product specifies a minimum order quantity in appropriate commercial units (kilograms, liters, boxes, sacks, or pallets). Orders below stated MOQ cannot be processed.
- Order Workflow: Orders follow a transparent status timeline: Received → Accepted → In Preparation → Ready / Dispatched → Completed.
- Cancellations: Buyers may cancel an order free of charge prior to acceptance by the supplier. Once accepted, cancellations must be agreed directly with the seller.
5. Pricing, Currency & Direct Settlement
All quotes and catalog listings are denominated in Algerian Dinars (DA):
- Paiement Direct: AkidFood does not charge online payment transaction fees at launch. Payment is executed directly between the buyer and the seller (cash on delivery, bank transfer, or certified check).
- Invoicing: Suppliers are legally obligated to provide official delivery slips (Bon de Livraison) and valid commercial tax invoices compliant with Algerian regulations.
6. Delivery, Click & Collect & Inspection Window
Logistics are managed across all 58 wilayas:
- Modes: Listings support Click & Collect (warehouse pickup) or Scheduled Delivery.
- Inspection Window: The buyer must inspect packages upon arrival. Discrepancies, damaged goods, or temperature violations must be reported via the app within 24 hours for perishables (produce, meats, dairy) or 48 hours for dry goods.
7. Objective 3-Pillar Supplier Ratings
Ratings on AkidFood Market are designed to be objective and reliable:
- Reviews are restricted to verified transactions and evaluated on 3 specific criteria:
- Quality: Compliance with product freshness and specifications.
- Timing: Punctuality and lead-time adherence.
- Customer Support: Professional communication and dispute resolution.
- Reviews are systematically moderated by the AkidFood platform to prevent unfair competition or defamatory claims.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. In the event of an unresolvable commercial dispute, the matter shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the commercial courts of Algiers.
